How to unlock the motorola V3i

Problem:

I will be travelling back home to visit my family in Asia this spring break, and my GSM phone is locked with new ATT formerly Cingular; would you please, help me to unlock this phone so I can use it oversea.

Solution:

2. You unlock it by entering a non-original SIM card, then it will ask you for the unlock code, Enter the code and now your phone is unlocked. If you need the unlock code, goto How To Unlock Motorola Phones
