2. You also can get the drivers from Motorola's website. and then use a free program know as BitPim well known in the cellular community and no virii. This will allow for File tranfer from your phone to your computer... But inorder to do Video you need to do Seem edits and if that sounds foreign to you DONT DO IT.
3. For opening yu phone on to the computer go to settings then connectivity and then open the usb setting then see whether it is on FAX mode or Memorary card

Motorola razr v3i itunes problem

Problem:

I use datacable to transfer mp3 songs to itunes folder of my mobile but it did not runs as itune and it can be payed only as a ringtone.
I use motorola phone tools to transfer data.Did i need to use any other application.

1. there is a problem with the flex..might be damaged..have it replaced by a cellphone technician..or check it yourself because the flex connectors might just be loose..try fitting it together

1. phone sig error mean your Phone MonsterPack(software) is demaged. you need to flash back using RSD lite to make back to normal. give me what software version you have on your cell and what bootloader you have..eg.bootloader 0A.30/0A.52..SW:R479 and etc. i these so i can upload one for you

Memory card

1. maximum memory supported by V3i is 512 memory so forget 1 gb also
2. The phone accepts cards up to 1GB in size, which is a good thing since the V3i comes with only 5MB of integrated memory.
3. 1 or 2 gb cards can not be handled by v3i

how to download skins for v3i...........that from pc to cell through usb.........the phons tools doesnt show any option for skins........so how to download it??

Solution:

1. For that you need a software called "P2K Commander V-4.0" and its asociated driver. You also need a skin file.
   The skin file for motorola V3i can normally be obtained in a .zip file format.
   This zip file have one .ski file and normally have 14 .dat file.You have to copied all the .dat files and one .ski file in the mobile's skin folder for one skin.
   Remembered , your old moto skin folder should not be deleted at any cost. 'cause the new skin can use your old skin file....

I have the phone to put music into itunes you need to go to settings then connection settings then USB settings after that you put default connection:Memory Card but you must first buy a 1GB micro memory card the V3i isn't strong enough to hold 2GB or more now when you connect it a message should appear saying from itunes on your phone so then itunes will open up on your PC and just start to drag and drop your songs to the phone and before you dissconnect the phone turn it OFF! or else the memory card will corrupt so make sure the phone is completly OFF! make sure you also install Motorola Phone Tools for other enjoyment in your motorola phone! Thats it
3. it is very easy to use i tunes in your mobile phone I'm giving all the steps require here.
   1.install i tunes on you computer.2 conect your phone with your computer your phone icon will be shown in the left side of i tunes.
   3.then import your music into your i tunes.4. go to file >make a new play list. a new palylist will be created-named it.5 now chose your song and drag them into this play list. 6 when you are finish drag your play list into you phone icon.7 transfer will start wait until it is finish importing the file into your phone.(look on top it will say mobile phone is updated ok to remove) .8 now disconnect your phone safely. there you are enjoy.

   you can't buy music from i tunes store in India because they (APPLE) haven't statared selling music in India. though you can open your account in ituens these day and maybe with iphone already launched in india in nere future you will be able to buy.
   about rest of the feature in itunes .........you can learn them very easily there is not actually much to learn....

Motorola RAZR V3i Cellular Phone V3i card formating

Problem:

hi new scandisc 2gb micro sd card wont format in phone, formated ok in pc card reader but when i put it back into the phone it still wants to re format but it fails, i have tried formating in "fat32" and just "fat" format but to no avail, is there a special type of format for a phone's mem card

   Register there, download the file and open with rar or zip. I formatted my card using the cardreader in my laptop (FAT, not FAT32) and added the files in the above file. Just place the "itunes" and "mobile" maps in the root of the card. Take it out, place it in your phone and voila!
   
   note: works on a 1gig micro sd card. Don't know about 2 or more.
2. no solution... need a 512kb sdmini card... that is the MAX supported size.. i have the same thing on mine... i had a 512 card tho and it formats fine and works. the 2gb card wont even be recognized by the phone..nevermind format. i can also format it on my pc but that does no good
3. My 2 gig didn't work and my phone just froze when I turned it on with the memory card in it, but when I installed it with the phone on it would format it and not freeze..

Motorola RAZR V3i Cellular Phone No indication of charging after connecting to usb

Problem:

i down loaded some pictures from my cell phone to pc through usb. after that i try to charge through the charger there is no indication of charging. now i have doubt
1. whether my battery become dead or not?
2 how to charge my phone after this incident?

Solution:

1. Try the followings:
   
   1. Plug the phone back to the pc and see if it will charge it. Or if it would beep when a cable is plugged to it. If I'm not mistaken, the driver for your phone should charge it when plugged to pc.
   
   2. If nothing happened from doing the above advice, then get a toothbrush, dip it rubbing alcohol and brush both the phone's charging port and the charger itself.

1. I would suggest you to Windows XP. Please note that it is not a problem of Motorola but of Vista.

5. No dude, the problem is with Motorola. Vista is what it is. Motorola is supposed to make their software compatible. What are you a politician? My Dell computer didnt work when i first installed Vista, but they finally came out with a compatible driver. Many of us have already upgraded to Vista and going back may not be an option.
